As a school built to prepare students for college, we utilize Naviance, a comprehensive college and career readiness system that helps families connect academic achievement to post-secondary goals.
Together, the faculty, administration, and our Guidance Department work with each family to provide a holistic approach to the four years at Neumann
Senior Workshop Days are held multiple times throughout the year during the school day to help seniors fill out applications, write college/scholarship essays, and prepare for senior year
College Scholars course designed by the Guidance Department for juniors and seniors to allow students time during the school day to learn and prepare for the college application process

Advisory Program
Our advisory program is integrated into the guidance curriculum to ensure all students receive the support they need starting the first quarter of freshmen year.
Every student meets with their grade level faculty advisor quarterly
Parents and students receive a follow up email providing an overview of topics discussed, including areas where a student may need further attention
1-on-1 personalized guidance that includes: academic progress, college and careers options based on performance and interests, calculation of student’s GPA, review of standardized tests, and more
Career Guidance
Assessments to evaluate career interests and strengths
College Scholars course, includes career explorations, job shadowing and interviewing skills with career-specific professionals, and preparation for students to outline steps needed to attain career goals
