    1. Choose your Theme
    • Each participant must choose a theme for their tablescape design.
    • The theme can be anything—from elegant and sophisticated to whimsical and playful.
    • Be creative and have fun with your design!
    • Theme Submission Deadline: All themes must be submitted at least 5 days before the event to hasa@sjnceltics.org.

    2. Table Setup
    • Setup will begin at 8:30 AM on Saturday. Participants will have 90 minutes to complete their tablescape.
    • Each participant will be provided with a standard table measuring 120 inches across.
    • Participants are responsible for bringing their own:
    • Tablecloth • Flatware, stemware, and table ware• Centerpiece• Any additional decorations

    3. Originality
    • Participants must create an original and unique tablescape design.
    • Duplicate themes are allowed, adding excitement to see different interpretations of the same idea.
    • May the best-decorated tablescape win!

    4. Use of Materials
    • Participants may use any materials for their tablescape be creative have fun!
    • All props must be placed ON the table.
    5. Judging Criteria
    Judges will score each tablescape based on the following criteria:
    • Theme Interpretation
    • Creativity
    • Visual Appeal
    • Originality
    • Attention to Detail
    • Use of Space
    Each category is worth up to 5 points. The table-scape with the highest overall score will be declared the winner.
    Judges will be design experts with no affiliation with the contestants or school.

    6. Clean-Up
    • After the event, participants are responsible for cleaning up their tablescape area.

    7. Fair Play & Prizes
    • Participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect for fellow participants.
    • Prizes will be awarded to the First, Second, and Third-Place winners!
